As a starting point, the pier needed a neat lighting column that could be controlled from a screen or remotely. Especially in a marine environment, the environmental requirements are very demanding. The materials must be able to withstand long periods of use and be resistant to impact. It was decided to build the frame with an aluminium profile, on which the necessary openings for the display, plugs and fixings would be machined. A similar column can also be made from sheet metal, either painted steel, stainless steel or aluminium. A luminaire can be integrated into the end of the pole or a simple protective cover can be used. The desired number of 230V and 400V sockets can be provided on the sides of the pole. Each socket can be controlled remotely and a display head can be added to the pole to monitor consumption.
